Our newest subpages combine our department page functionality for all pages.
Overview
The new Subpage Side-Navigation feature introduces a clean, modern design along with greater flexibility and control over your page layouts. With this update, you can enhance the navigation experience for your visitors by toggling key elements directly within the CMS Editor, ensuring a more intuitive and visually appealing presentation.
Key Features
Each page now includes a Side Navigation Settings Panel in the top-right corner, where you can toggle the following options:
1. Include Side Navigation

Enable or Disable side navigation for any subpage.
2. Side Navigation Location

Choose whether the side navigation appears on the left or right side of the page.
3. Include Breadcrumbs

Toggle on/off to show or hide breadcrumbs for improved navigation.
4. Include Banner Image

Enable or disable a banner image at the top of the page.
5. Include Staff Image (Available Upon Request)

If applicable, toggle on/off a staff image for certain department or personnel pages (this feature must be requested through support). We have turned this off by default but can add it to individual layouts. See information on how to change a layouts below.
How to Customize Your Subpage Side-Navigation

Navigate to the page you want to edit within the CMS Editor.

Locate the Side Navigation Settings Panel in the top-right corner.

Adjust the toggles based on your preferences:

Enable or disable the side navigation.

Choose the left or right positioning.

Toggle breadcrumbs, banner images, and (if applicable) staff images.

Save and Publish your changes.
Additional Notes

This feature is required for the Publish Optimization upgrade. If your site has been upgraded, your subpages will automatically include this new functionality.

Staff images are only available upon request. If you’d like this feature enabled, please contact support.

How to Change Layouts
- To find the "Page Settings" button, click the 3 dots next to the desired page or right-click on the page, then select "Page Settings" from the menu.
- Select the "Layouts" tab.
- Under the "Template" dropdown, select the template dropdown. You'll have options for Layout-Home, Layout-Sub-Column-1st Level, Layout-Sub-Column- 2nd Level, Layout-Sub-Column- 3rd Level. If you had a design before this template you may also have other layouts.
To apply to all the pages underneath that page you can use the toggles:
- Be sure to save before you open the page!

Subpage Side-Navigation or Sidebar Settings
To access the Subpage Side-Navigations Settings Panel, find the toggle button immediately above the side navigation on the right hand side.
Include Side Navigation
This toggle lets you turn off the side navigation entirely, giving you the option to create a clean, full-width layout.
Side Navigation Location
This toggle allows you to move the side navigation from the left to the right.
Side Navigation Location
You are able to select which level the displays at the top of the sidebar. You can use the layouts to change the whole section default this will only apply to the page you are on.
Include Breadcrumbs
This allows a user to turn off the breadcrumbs for the page. This is useful if you have a banner and a title and don't want the breadcrumbs as well.
Include Banner Image
This toggle allows you to add a banner image to the top of the site.
Include Title
Add a page title with ease. Just click and start typing!
Include Staff Image
To highlight a department head, simply add their image, name, position, phone number, and email. This email is no longer a default by customer request but can be added back in by request on any individual layout or all layouts.
NOTE: "Include Banner Image" and "Include Side Navigation" are required for the Staff Image to display correctly!
