Video Element

The Video element allows you to display videos on your website. This article explains how to go about embedding a video onto a page.

To Embed a Video

1. Drag the video element to your page.
   Simply drag the video element where you want it to appear.
2. Add a Title
   Click to open the video settings and give your video a title.
   
   
3. Choose Your Video Type
   For the best performance and optimization, we recommend using YouTube.
4. Turn on Closed Captions
   For accessibility and ADA compliance, turn on closed captions. Open your video in a new tab and click the "CC" button at the bottom.
5. Get the Embed Code
   Under your video, click the Share button, then select Embed to get the embed code.
6. Add the Embed Code to Your Page
   Copy the code and paste it into the open Video card in Catapult. When you're done, click Save.
7. Preview or Publish
   Now you can preview your page or hit publish to see the video live on your website.
