      ClassLink (OneRoster) integration (CONNECT)

      If your school syncs data to the ClassLink roster server, you can share that with CatapultCONNECT rather than creating custom exports. We pull staff, student, class assignments, and guardian data each evening.

      To share ClassLink data with us:

      1. Go to ClassLink > Roster Server
      2. Sign in
      3. Choose Apps
      4. Choose Add New App
      5. Search for CatapultEMS
      6. Choose Add
      7. Choose Rule-Based Permissions or Full Permission
      8. After completing the permissions go back to Apps
      9. Search for CatapultEMS
      10. Choose Enabled

      Data limitations

      CatapultCONNECT supports the standard OneRoster fields. This has the following limitations.

      • Staff
        • Pulls school, name, email, and limited title.
        • Title: Pulled from RoleType (administrator, aide, proctor, teacher) rather than a free-form job title.
      • Students
        • Pulls name, school, phone and email.
        • Does not pull zipcode, busroute, lunchbalance
      • Guardians/Student Contacts
        • Pulls two contacts per student with name, email, and phone.
        • Does not pull zip code, language, or notification preference
      • Course
        • Pulls course name and number, plus associated students and teachers.
        • Does not pull the optional section number.
