Create a New Public Google Calendar in Google

CatapultCMS allows you to stack and display multiple calendars in one place. This means you can create separate calendars—such as a District Calendar, Board Calendar, or Athletics Calendar—and choose which ones display on your website. Each calendar stays organized and easy to update. Tip: If you create multiple calendars, remember to add future events to the correct calendar.

How to Create a New Google Calendar

1. Open Google Calendar

  1. Go to google.com and sign in.
  2. Click the 9-dot Google Apps icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Calendar.

2. Create a New Calendar

  1. In the left sidebar, find Other calendars and click the (+) button.
  2. Select Create new calendar.
  3. Enter a Name, Description, and the correct Time Zone.

  4. Click Create calendar.

Your new calendar will appear under My calendars.

3. Update Calendar Settings (Required for Catapult)

  1. Find your new calendar under My calendars.

Important: CatapultCMS cannot sync private calendars. Only calendars you intentionally make public will sync.
