Getting Started With CatapultCMS: The Dashboard

Welcome to CatapultCMS! This guide will help you get familiar with the dashboard—the place where you’ll access your pages, programs, and tools. Whether you’re brand-new or returning after a break, this is the best place to start before you begin editing.

Logging In

Navigate to https://login.catapultcms.com/Login
Use your assigned CatapultCMS username and password or Single Sign On method. If you do not know your login information, reach out to your district’s Catapult administrator.

The Dashboard Overview

Once you log in, you’ll land on the Dashboard. This is your homepage for editing and managing your site.

You may see tools such as:

  • Websites – Where you edit and organize website pages
  • Announcements – Post news and updates
  • Users – Add, update, and manage user accounts and permission levels.
  • Staff Directory – Manage staff directory entries, groups, and display settings.
  • School Manager – Control school homepage icons and quick-access elements that appear on school sites.
  • Alerts – Create emergency notifications or urgent reminders that appear sitewide.
  • Analytics – View site traffic and engagement data (if enabled)
  • ADA Service – Access accessibility tools and automated checks (availability varies)
  • Configuration – Manage navigation, calendars, themes, and advanced settings (permissions required)
  • Help – Browse support articles and documentation

Your dashboard may look different from someone else’s. That’s because your permissions determine which programs you can access.

If something you expect to see is missing, contact your administrator to adjust your access level.

Finding Your Tools

Most tools appear as icons on the left-hand menu.
Common areas include:

  • Programs (Announcements, Alerts, Staff Directory, etc.)
  • Pages (your editable content)
  • Account Settings (update your password or profile)
