The PAGES panel is your control center for managing the pages on your site. From here, you can add, delete, rearrange, and rename pages with ease.
What’s in the PAGES Panel?
When you log in to your website, you’ll see your Home page with the PAGES panel open on the left. This panel includes:
- A list of all the pages on your site.
- Tools for adding, rearranging, deleting, and organizing those pages.
How to Access to Pages Panel
To access the pages panel, simply hover over the CatapultCMS logo in the top left corner and click on "My Pages".
Basic Functions for Working with Pages
Once you select a page, several functions will become available for that page:
- Edit Page: Opens the EDIT panel, where you can update the page content. You can also open the EDIT panel by clicking the EDIT button at the top of the screen. (See the article on the Edit Panel for more details.)
- Add Page: Allows you to create a new child page.
- Rename: Lets you change the name of the page.
- Duplicate Page: Makes a copy of the page. This is useful when you need a similar page layout and can easily edit the content instead of starting from scratch. Be sure to rename the duplicated page!
- Convert to Link: Converts page into a link.
- Hide Page: This keeps the page visible in the editor, but hides it from the live website.
- Page Settings: Brings up the page settings pop-up. Be sure to check out our Page Properties article.
- Delete Page: Removes the selected page from your site.
Reordering Pages
To rearrange your pages, simply drag and drop them to the desired location in the list.
